May 21st, 2009 - Former President of the Granville Chapter, Johnny Keith was in serious motorcycle accident in Stem, NC. Johnny remains in ICU at Duke. He has a severe brain injury, 10 broken bones in his face, a fractured skull, a fractured vertabrae in his back and a broken toe. He has undergone two surgeries to date. UPDATE (6-11-09): Things are looking positive, he hasn't gone backward at all. He has opened his eye and seems to recognize and responds to his wife. It's going to be a long slow road for Johnny but he's making small steps forward most every day now.
May 30th, 2009 - Jamie Cates and Amanda Spence of Lucama hit a female deer on their way home from the TRB party. Jamie received severe road rash and Amanda has a broken collar bone and ribs. UPDATE(6-17-09): Jamie is doing well since the accident and Amanda was released a week ago from ICU. She will be going to a brain rehab center for a minimum of three weeks. Keep her in your prayers. UPDATE(7-15-09) Amanda has been released from the hospital and is doing well.

June 3rd, 2009 - Jason Defour lost control of his bike on some gravel around 7pm less than a mile from his home and went into a drainage ditch hitting the drain pipe head on, crushing his spinal cord. Jason is in Wake Med Center. UPDATE(6/11/09): Jason is in a back brace and trying to sit on the edge of the bed. He is paralyzed from the waist down. Jason has been moved to rehab and will spend approx. 3 weeks there. He is in room 2D24.

June 5th, 2009 - Ricky Beaman & Teresa Tugwell of Walstonburg slowed down to cross tracks on Hwy 58 and the car behind them did not. Ricky has a broken tailbone and road rash. Teresa has abroken arm and road rash.

June , 2009 - William "Al" Webb, former TRB member had a head on collision with a car on 301 in Wilson a few weeks back. He sustained a broken pelvis and extensive internal injuries.
