Ok, the end of the year has finally come and I hope each and everyone of the TRB family has a safe, healthy and happy holiday season.

Dec 12th, 2009 was our Annual TRB Christmas party and what a great time we had. We started the party at 5:30pm with our meal of ribs, baked ham, boiled potatoes and cole slaw. We finished the meal off with mini cheesecakes, mini danish, chocolate chip cookies and mini brownies.

Before the band started playing and we had our pinning ceremony of the new Officers, I treated the members with a video of the past and present events and members that have made us who we are today. A HUGE thanks to one of the band members who helped us get it to come up on the t.v. otherwise we wouldn't have seen it. I believe everyone enjoyed it and if anyone would like a copy to play on their computer I will make one for $2.00 to cover the cost of the cd's and my time. Just email me and I will have it ready for the next meeting in January. 

The band, Pleasure 2 Burn out of Raleigh started playing at 7:00pm. They played southern rock and had members dancing all night.

Thanks to everyone who stayed behind and helped me clean up while the band was picking up. It made it alot easier to come over Sunday morning and only have a small amount left to do.

Thanks to Wendy for allowing us to use her bar for our party.

We encourage everyone to participate at the Leg. meetings with their ideas. It takes every member to make the Chapter work. Our goal for 2010 is to recruit new members, bring back old members, hold membership drives and to get the MSAP Training Program with Rita Spaulding off the ground for TRB. The next MSAP Training is January 17th at Wendy Trails in Stantonsburg.

Here it is December 2009 and another year almost gone. We hope to have a productive year next year and focus on recruiting new & past members and to get our MSAP Training underway.

**Let me recap highlights from last month:**

Nov 6th - Wendy, Erma, Bob and I went to Next Door Live in Kinston to see Boogie Chillins play with Nantucket. We had a great time and plan on going back in February when Ryan King is scheduled to play. We would like to get a group together to go next time so I will post it as the time gets near.

Nov 7th - TRB friend and Wendy Trails regular, Danny Strickland of Walstonburg passed away from a massive heart attack. He was 54 years old.

Nov 9th - Linda Watson, had surgery on her ankle today and so far doing well. We wish her a speedy recovery so she can get back out and about with her friends....

Nov 15th - MSAP Training with Rita Spaulding was held at Wendy Trails in Stantonsburg @ 1:00 pm. We had 16 members participate and hoping to get more members involved @ the January 17th meeting.

Nov 18th - Monthly Legislative meeting held @ Wendy Trails. This was the last meeting until January 2010 when the new Officers will take Office. Winner of the 50/50 was Kristie Barnhill and the Attendance drawing was Andy Alexander who was not present at the meeting. We will be having an Officer Meetings once a month instead of Social night. Everyone still is welcome to come to the meeting to socialize with us. Having the Officers meet once a month ensures that we stay focused on any events coming up ad preparing for the next Leg. Meeting. All ideas are welcome as to how we can make TRB have a successful year in 2010. We need to set up the CBA tent more often at bike shows and events. We would like to hold more membership drives and fundraisers to support the CBA.

Nov 21st - Jess, Linda Bob and I attended the State Banquet this year. Bob and I attended the day long training classes and met up with Jess and Linda to go to the Banquet which started @ 6:00pm. Willie P. Richardson, comedian from the John Boy and Billy Show was the entertainment and very funny. We encourage TRB members to go next year its a good time. Congratulations to all CBA Chapters that won awards this year. I have listed the winners on the HOME page.

Nov 26th - Wendy had her 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for anyone who didn't have a place to go. She had a great crowd and a few TRB members join her. Ed & Deb, Kenny & Kristie, Bob & Deb, Grasshopper, Jesse & Linda. Thanks to Wendy for her kindness during the Holiday.

Our TRB Christmas Party is December 12th, 2009 at Wendy Trails starting @ 5:00pm. We will eat at 5:30 pm and pin the new Officers around 6:00. The band this year is Pleasure 2 Burn, a southern rock group out of the Raleigh area. They will play from 7 - 11 pm.

Thanks again to all members for your loyalty and hard work this year, without you we couldn't be successful. I hope we can continue to be successful  in 2010 to recruit new and past members and get our MSAP Training in motion. I see a great 2010 year in progress...Have a safe and healthy Holiday Season!!!
