Social night was washed out again in May. Eventually we hope to get at least one social Wednesday that is nice so we can ride and get a bite to eat. I will start sending an email on Tuesday prior to the social meeting if the weather forecast shows over a 35% chance of rain for Wednesday social in the pm hours. I will pick a restaurant to meet at for that Wednesday meeting.
The TRB Gun Raffle is Saturday. We still can use food and desserts if anyone is interested in cooking. We will be having hamburgers and hot dogs this year. A special "Thanks" to Wendy for donating the hot dogs, Guardian Brotherhood for helping with the band, all CBA members who will be donating their time to help setup and sit at booths and to everyone who has gotten donations for the door prizes. I have TRB T-shirts, muscle shirts and ladies tanks for sale M to XL $12.00 ; 2XL and up $15.00. I also have TRB bottle koozies available in 5 different colors for $5.00.
We have Tattoo Tammy from the Grindhouse in Tarboro setting up at 3:00pm. Looking for a new tattoo now is the time.
Patsy will setting up her sewing machine for anyone who needs patches sewn on.
The winner of the 50/50 drawing was Stewart Vester.
Tom McLaughlin of Walstonburg won the attendance drawing of $20.00.
Cliff Jackson Memorial Run:
Patsy and Mike Bullock of the Hogs Pen have started their preparations for the 2nd Annual Cliff Jackson Memorial Run on Aug 29th. If you are interested in volunteering for this event please contact Patsy or Mike at the Hogs Pen. They are looking for volunteers and donations for all areas of this event.
On a Sadder Note:
Chris Ellis, owner of the Handle Barz in Lucama and former Tar River Basin member passed away on Sunday May 24th, 2009. His memorial was Thursday, May 28th, 2009 at the Handle Barz from 7pm - 9pm. Please keep Tammy in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through this difficult time.

Lucama Spring Fling - Bob and I set up the CBA tent and sold some t-shirts and Gun Raffle tickets. Tried to recruit a few new members. A nice turnout for their first Spring Fling.
