I visited the Hotel Yesterday and here is the information that I have for you:

• Rooms - $74 (plus tax)- included is breakfast- all rooms have been recently upgraded and are very nice (for the ladies - Bed & Bath Tru Blu Spa Bath Products)- all rooms are non-smoking - they will be putting us on the same floor. There is a possibility that the rooms will become cheaper, they want to see how many rooms we are going to be booking and then I will go back in and re-negotiate, right now we are on a 20 room rate.
• Meeting Room - $250 for 2 days - classroom style will hold 200 people - they are providing us with 2 free rooms for our breakaway of the districts meetings on Saturday.
• Hospitality Room - Free - will be right around the corner from the bar - you can bring your own beverages can be brought BUT they must stay in the Hospitality area or your room.
• Bar/lounge - has nightly drink specials, example - Corona's $1.50 on Friday Nights. There is a pool table there and they are looking at adding another one.
• Additional amenities - complimentary High Speed and Wireless Internet, on site Fitness center, 24-hour snack pantry, complimentary full breakfast serving Starbucks coffee, a really large outdoor pool, complimentary access to RUSH Fitness Complex, on site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner/
• Food - within .6 miles - Mexican, Arby's,Carolina Diner within .9 miles - McDonalds, Shoney's, Bogangles, within 1.3 FATZS, Subway, Taco Bell, Pollo Pizza - ALSO - the Hotel has a COMPLIMENTARY shuttle that holds 13 and they will take a group FREE to any of these that they want.
• Pets - they are pet friendly
• For some of the men in our group - walk out the back door, cross the parking lot, walk through a little path and viola...you are at "The Gold Club - Restaurant & Gentleman's Bar"...not enough....stagger down about 2 doors and viola there's another!

If there are any questions that you need answered about the hotel please let me know and I will get them answered for you. We can begin making reservations 1/31/10 at 336-668-0421 you need to tell them you are with the Concerned Bikers Association.

Please let me take a moment here - We know that the vote to move was close and we know that there is some that have concerns over this move, we hope that you find once you arrive at the Hotel and we get into the groove of meeting here that you'll find the vote to move will be a good one.
